About

What's the Women Build Retreat?

Women are the builders of life. We build homes, communities, families, bonds, and so much more. Amazing things happen when women come together to support and learn from each other. Life and busy schedules can often make these moments limited, leaving us wishing for more time to connect in meaningful ways......

Back by popular demand, Habitat for Humanity Peterborough and Kawartha Region is bringing you an unforgettable experience. Escape to the rustic charm of Camp Timberlane for a women's retreat like no other, blending adventure, construction, relaxation, and community.

By joining us for this retreat, you’re not just treating yourself to an unforgettable experience—you’re making a meaningful difference in the community. Each ticket includes a donation to Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region, and together, we’ll roll up our sleeves to build a project from start to finish. This year our build project will be supporting Haliburton's Places for People. We are still hammering out the details on this (see what we did there? Hammer pun.) but the project will be announced soon!

From outdoor activities to serene yoga sessions, there's something for everyone! Bond with like-minded women, all while supporting HabitatPKR's upcoming builds.

Join us in this meaningful (and ridiculously fun) journey, and together, let's continue to build a better future for all.

Don't take our word for it! Check out a gallery of pictures from last year's retreat and hear what participants had to say!

Who is this for?

Are you a woman who builds—whether it's businesses, communities, or ideas? Do you thrive on connecting with like-minded women who see potential in everything? Do you want to learn valuable and practical construction skills while giving back to the community?

The Women Build Retreat is designed for women who want to engage in meaningful connections and collaborations, all while having fun and being well taken care of. With meals, accommodations, and programming all arranged, all you need to do is show up and enjoy!
